I’m Claire E. Jones (she/her) and I’m an award-winning author, international speaker, and experienced strategist who has been in the publishing industry since 2006. I’ve published my own poetry, articles, fiction, nonfiction, workbooks, planners, journals, as well as a wide variety of business writings and am now committed to supporting others in doing the same with ethical and efficient strategies.
I’m not a writing coach. I’m not a churn-and-burn agency who will dump thousands of your dollars into ads with no ROI. I’m not the strategist who only plays the empty Amazon bestseller status game.
Together, we are interested in changing the status quo, shifting paradigms, and having a fucking blast while we do it.
I first entered the publishing scene at age sixteen when I won a Topical Winner poetry award from the Raymond Walters College of University of Cincinnati. From there, I went on to become a published author, public speaker, and academic in the field of Art History, sharing my expertise through peer-reviewed articles and lectures at the prestigious Ringling Museum of Art.
In 2014, I decided to transition into entrepreneurship, and have since founded four businesses, building a reputation as a highly skilled business writer and consultant. My work has spanned everything from business plans to legal agreements, operating manuals to workshops, social media posts to website copy, and has been sought after by clients across a range of industries (primarily in women-owned businesses with 1-100 employees earning up to seven figures in annual revenue).
In 2022, I followed my life-long passion for fiction and wrote, published, and sold my debut novel in under nine months. Within fifteen days of launch, it ranked at #81 out of all Ingram Fiction Fantasy Romance titles. Within three months, it sold in six countries. Within a year, it had been picked up by bookstores across the U.S. Since then, I’ve written, published, and sold a book a year since.
In 2026, the fifth book in my queer fantasy romance series will release along with my two nonfiction titles, Write, Publish, Thrive and Marketing in the Age of Aquarius.
When I’m not working, I devote my energies to my mutual aid resource network, Dungeons & Dragons group, reading as many books as I can, or communing with nature in my glorious backyard in Seattle WA. You can also find me dancing and singing in my kitchen while I cook/bake up delicious vegan goodies on a weekly basis.
